  10. The Electronic Text Publishing System is used to make "electronic"
  11. books or magazines, such as tutorials, training manuals, or even
  12. works of literature.
  13.  
  14. The E-Text system allows you to create professional looking,
  15. royalty-free programs with minimal effort.  E-Text uses text files
  16. that you create and compiles them into a menu driven "electronic"
  17. book, complete with a table of contents.  If you know how to use a
  18. word processor, then you have all the skills necessary to publish
  19. your own "electronic" books on a disk.
  20.  
  21. You can customize each E-Text publication with your own color
  22. combinations, menu position, wallpaper, scrollable regions, opening
  23. and closing splash screens.

  25. E-Text also supports the use of 256-color .PCX images, submenus,
  26. executing DOS commands.

  28. A sample electronic document has been included "Aesop's Fables".  To
  29. view, just type: READ  [press ENTER].  Once you have seen what E-Text
  30. can do, take a look at the COMPILE.DOC documentation on how to create
  31. your own E-Texts using the included compiler.
